I fealt the same way that bleedinorange did the first game of the season. It has been a long time comin, eh? What I think that I am most impressed with this year is the way that the staff has been able to translate some of the upgrades in facilities and recruiting classes into success on the field. Not to take anything away from Kenyatta Wright and the Orange Crush, but this defense has a chance to be pretty special, too. Watching the way they have mixed up the coverages under Beckman's tutelage, and especially how they stiffled that loudmouthed wussy-baby in Colombia, has been AWESOME! Btw, speaking of the Orange Crush, you fellas had a pretty good day in 97 against Texas didn't you Mr. Wright? Here's hoping that this new defense does the same and at least slows down Colt McCoy. Gonna be tough sleddin but I think we can hang with em. Sean |
I consider myself the biggest o-state fan there is. I went to my first OSU Game in 1971. I have not missed a home game since. I remember your playing days very well. I have been blessed to have the opportunity in my life to watch some great players on the sacred ground we now call Boone Pickens Stadium. The day I walked into the Stadium this year for the first game (About 2 hrs before kickoff). I went to my seats took in the new stadium and I can say that as a grown man and a bleeding orange alum and fan that it brought tears of haapiness to my eyes to witness the changes at my University over the last 37 years. I want to thank you Mr. Wright for being a grerat player, student, and role model for all of us fans young and old. I have 3 sons 20 yr old (OSU Student), 17 yr old and a 10 yr old. The only two things I hope to see during my life. Is this team win a Big 12 Championship and with God's Blessing one day watching my 10 yr old play on the Sacred Ground in Boone Pickens Stadium. Thanks for all the great memories and hope to see you around on game day and I will introduce myself and my sons to you. GO POKES !!!!!! BEAT texas !!!!
